CONTAINERS

The cuboid that revolutionised maritime transport

Sea containers have standardised features and dimensions. Their production is carried out in accordance with strict ISO standards. They are equipped with lashing elements that ensure smooth transport, loading and unloading onto a ship and then onto land transport vehicles.

Comprehensive expert support

Their robust and airtight construction guarantees the delivery of goods intact, no matter how far they have to travel. Among the types of shipping containers are:

  • universal containers – designed for transport of all general cargo
  • open top containers – intended for transport of cargo which exceeds the height of a standard container, is loaded from the top or cannot be loaded through doors
  • open-sided containers – allow cargo to be sorted without the need for full unloading
  • container with open top and side – intended for transport of cargo whose dimensions do not allow the use of universal containers and containers with open roof
  • platform container – suitable for transport of heavy and bulky cargo; loading capacity of 40ft platform containers is approx. 40 tonnes
  • tank container – designed for the transport of liquid chemicals or potable liquids
  • refrigerated container – suitable for transporting goods that require a constant temperature.
